![]() They distract you from any other threats you should be looking for. Not actually big of a deal, but their very presence itself is the problem. This is also the main reason why I topped this as the hardest above anything else. If this mission does not give you access to smoke grenade, "Burn' em Out" would have been the hardest mission to beat on Veteran in entire COD series. You have to run pass long hallways, guarded by multiple Type 99 gunners, and you have to do that TWICE in this mission. ![]() This is by far the deadliest weapon on enemy AI's hand in entire COD campaign history. The map layout of this mission is insane as well. Short combat range also means enemy can rob a grenade at any time, unlike when you move out from the distance, enemy cannot throw a grenade that far. It's short, means that any shots from enemy soldiers will almost always impact on you. The reason for "Burn' em Out" being the hardest one to beat are. ![]() It's actually relatively easy compare to other missions on Veteran such as "Semper Fi", "Downfall" and "Breaking Point". "Heart of the Reich" is not the hardest one to beat in my account, even it's on Veteran. ![]() I've been playing WAW campaign always on Hardened difficulty or harder for I don't know how much long, and I dare to say the hardest mission to beat on Veteran difficulty is "Burn' em Out", not "Heart of the Reich".
